About the Author

Dogan Ibrahim has First Class Honors BSc degree in elec-
tronic engineering, an MSc degree in automatic control engi-
neering, and a PhD degree in digital signal processing, all
obtained from the universities in the United Kingdom. He
has worked in many industrial organizations many years be-
fore he returned to academic life. He is the author of over 70
technical books and over 200 technical articles and conference
proceedings on microcontrollers, microprocessors, digital
control systems, and related fields. He is currently a retired
chartered electrical engineer and a fellow of the Institution
of the Engineering Technology (IET) in United Kingdom.
His hobbies include reading, playing tennis, walking, and
watching the television.
