                       At all times during project construction, administrators reserve the right to conduct
                     periodic spot checks and random audits to make certain that all payments received
                     were made in accordance with CSI rules and regulations.




                     CSI Reservation Steps


                     The following is a summary of steps for EPBB application:

                      1 The reservation form must be completed and submitted with the owner’s or
                         applicant’s wet signature.
                      2 Proof of electric utility service or account number for the project site must be
                         shown on the application. In the case of a new project, the owner must procure a
                         tentative service account number.
                      3 The system description worksheet available on the CSI  Web page must be
                         completed.
                      4 Electrical system sizing documents, as discussed earlier, must be attached to the
                         application form.
                      5 If the project is subject to tax-exemption Form AB1407, compliance for gov-
                         ernment and nonprofit organizations must be attached to the application.
                      6 For existing projects, energy-efficiency audits or Title 24 calculations must be
                         submitted as well.
                      7 To calculate the EPBB, use the CSI Web-page calculator (www.csi-epbb.com).
                      8 Attach a copy of the executed purchase agreement from a solar system contractor
                         or provider.
                      9 Attach a copy of the executed contract agreement if system ownership is given to
                         another party.
                     10 Attach a copy of the grid-interconnection agreement, if available; otherwise,
                         inform the administrator about steps taken to secure the agreement.

                       To submit a payment claim, provide the following documents to the administrator:

                      1 Submit a wet-signed claim form (available on the CSI Web page).
                      2 Submit proof of authorization for grid integration.
                      3 Submit a copy of the building permit and final inspection signoff.
                      4 Submit proof of warranty from the installer and equipment suppliers.
                      5 Submit the final project cost breakdown.
                      6 Submit a final project cost affidavit.


                       For projects categorized as PBI or nonresidential systems delivering 10 kW or larger,
                     the owner must follow the following procedure:

                      1 The reservation form must be completed and submitted with owners or applicant’s
                         wet signature.
