You Are Willing to Make Mistakes
■ Get into setbacks early on.
■ Admit mistakes and fix them.
■ Keep going.
MAKING MISTAKES PROVES THAT YOU’RE DOING SOMETHING. Good for
you. Gain from them, apply what you learned, don’t repeat them, and don’t
stop trying harder. Let others make mistakes too so that they can learn also.
I don’t care if people make mistakes. I only care about what they
learned. Everybody, everyday makes mistakes or at least is imperfect.
If they avoid them, no one learns anything, and it causes everybody
to be afraid to admit what they did.

I forgive them immediately and remind them of four or five things
they did well. My mentor taught me to reinforce the positive and
deemphasize the negative.
