parliamentary democracy which they hold dear. Their political proposals
in fact raise fundamental questions for the rule of law but they seem
blissfully unaware of this reality. In short, the inconsistencies in the posi-
tions put forward by the anti-globalizers are so great that it is difficult to
take them seriously.
