           Ease of Analysis



           Fig. 4.4.5 shows that analysis in the repetitive unstructured environment is as easy as
           putting a square peg in a square hole whereas analysis in the nonrepetitive unstructured
           environment is as awkward and as difficult as placing a square peg in a round hole.


           There are lots of reasons for this major difference between repetitive and nonrepetitive
           unstructured data. Repetitive unstructured data are easy to analyze because of the
           following:


               The records are uniform in shape.
               The records are usually small and compact.
               The records are easy to parse because the contextual information in the record is easy to find.


           Pretty much the opposite is true of the nonrepetitive unstructured records. Nonrepetitive
