           A simple definition of an ontology is that an ontology is a taxonomy where there are
           interrelationships of the elements within the taxonomy.


           As a rule, either taxonomies or ontologies (or both) can be used when creating the
           foundation for textual disambiguation of nonrepetitive unstructured data.
