Modern reservoir testing has evolved from simply seeing how much
the well could produce into a sophisticated tool for evaluating the reservoir.
Information produced by the test includes the following:
                   1. Measuring of the rate of flow and the corresponding pressures.

                  2. Sampling the reservoir fluids and gases.
                   3. Measuring the reservoir static temperature and pressure.
                   4. Evaluating the extent of damage done to the reservoir by drilling
                     into it.
                   5. Identifying internal reservoir boundaries.
                  6. Measuring the total deliverability of the well (maximum

                     flow rate).
                   7. Identifying a flow rate at which sand particles start to move into

                     the wellbore.
