               GAS-TURBINE-PLANT  OXYGEN  AND  FUEL  INPUT
               DETERMINATION




               In a gas-turbine HRSG (heat-recovery steam generator) it is desired to raise
               the temperature of 150,000 lb/h (68,100 kg/h) of exhaust gases from 950°F
               (510°C)  to  1575°F  (857.2°C)  in  order  to  nearly  double  the  output  of  the

               HRSG. If the exhaust gases contain 15 percent oxygen by volume, determine
