pyrogram A program that is the resulting chromatogram generated
by a pyrolysate (a compound undergoing pyrolysis).

pyrolysis The controlled thermal decomposition process that is
used for the characterization of nonvolatile polymers and other high-
molecular-weight materials.

pyrolysis gas chromatography A GC technique that analyzes
the breakdown compounds generated by a pyrolysis event.

pyrolyzate The product of the pyrolysis process.
