No matter what your station in life is, there will come a day when you’ll
have to decide whether to speak out or forever hold your peace. When that
day comes for you, remember that great results begin with great questions.
On a frigid morning in January 1961, John F. Kennedy asked each Ameri-
can citizen in the country a question when he spoke these words: “Ask not
what your country can do for you—ask what you can do for your coun-
try.” This powerful question inspired a whole generation of Americans to
consider serving something much greater than themselves.
