sectional area. Very few independent testing laboratories have universal
testing equipment with environmental chambers capable of maintaining
test temperatures. A photograph of a universal testing machine equipped
with a convection current type environmental chamber is shown in Fig-
ure 3-1.
Some properties contribute to the long service life or performance of a
grout while others facilitate the ease of installation or grout placement. In
