                          Circular Functions

There are six circular trigonometric functions. They operate on
angleð tm yield real numbers, and are known as sineł cosineł
tangentł cosecantł secant , and cotangent. In formulas and equa-
tions, they are abbreviated sin, cos, tan, csc, sec, and cot re-
                          spectively.
