Electronic Components
ABSTRACT
Electronic components are just like machine elements in mechanical design; they are the
basic parts of the electronic circuits. Resistors, capacitors, or cables are general parts that
are used in almost any electronic circuit. More advanced parts, like motor drivers, are also
available on the market as standard units. The necessity of the electronics in mechatronics
projects rises from the fact that the machines cannot be controlled mechanically. The elec-
tronic hardware both powers the system and allows control algorithms to be implemented.
