             Engaged: The status of a wingman who is actively dealing
                 with a challenge, customer, or important project (the
                 opposite of supporting)
             FEAR: Focus Energy, Accept Responsibility
             Flight lead: The person in charge of leading a group of wing-
                 men on a particular project
             Flight plan: A step-by-step process to accomplish a mission or
                 deal with a contingency
             “I have the aircraft!”: A statement of ownership of your mis-
                 sion and of being fully accountable for results
             Lose sight, lose fight: A saying that means to keep sight of
                 your wingmen and always find meaning in your mission
             Lost wingman: Someone who lacks guidance or direction in
                 his or her life
             “Mayday, Mayday!”: A distress call symbolizing the ability to
                 call out for help to your wingmen
             Mutual support: When two or more wingmen work together
                 to provide open communication, encouragement, and
                 mission-critical feedback
             New day, new jet: A mind-set for bouncing back from failure
                 and looking optimistically to the future
             Over-G: A breach in one’s integrity or moral compass
             Push it up!: To apply maximum effort and commitment to a
                 mission
             Release brakes: To have the courage to take action despite
                 your fear
             Situational awareness: The ability to assess one’s environ-
                 ment, threats, and wingmen
             Status: Request for a wingman’s situational awareness and
                 position
             Supporting: The act of assisting the engaged wingman while
                 maintaining overall situational awareness
