Leaching issues in recycled aggregate concrete 351

Regarding the environmental regulations, it is necessary to take extrapolation
into account: any leaching test result needs extrapolation to the real behaviour of
the recycled concrete in various field scenarios.
The assessment of the environmental risk arising from the actual application of
recycled concrete in different scenarios implies the analysis of the potential leach-
ing of the material in its specific application and not only under laboratory
           conditions.
