                                 In closing, I ask you to remember why you got into interpret-
                              ing in the first place. If it was for the love of the language and the
                              culture of Deaf people, then your journey as a professional inter-
                              preter should continue to be an enjoyable, rewarding, and enrich-
                              ing one. If you have lost sight of this focus or never had the love,
                              then it may be time for you to get out of the field. Both the Deaf
                              community and the interpreting profession deserve only the best.
