3O2 Reciprocating Compressors: Operation and Maintenance

           2. Specification for materials must be the same or better than the origi-
             nal part.
3, Heat treating and hardness of the materials must be the same or
             superior in quality.
4, Weights of the reciprocating parts must be very close to original in
order to minimize unbalanced forces and resulting vibrations.
           5. Nothing is done that will jeopardize the integrity of the mating
             parts.

Any deviation from these fundamentals will result in parts that are
poor in quality and that can adversely affect the operation and reliability
         of the compressor.
Remember, you get exactly what you pay for.
