Pipelines are valuable assets serving human beings for hundreds of years. Many
industries such as oil and gas, and water authorities are dealing with maintenance
and management of this infrastructure. Old and deteriorating pipelines frequently
fail and cause substantial economic loss, environmental impacts and social dam-
age resulting tremendous cost, inconvenience, and loss of public goodwill.
This publication tries to present trustworthy methodologies for accurate calcu-
lation of structural reliability of in-service pipelines and suggest maintenance and
           inspection approaches.
The author would like to express his deepest appreciation to Prof. Chun Qing

on pipeline reliability analysis, since 2010.
