EXPERIENCE
My current position is medical record technician at the Hillside
Nursing Home, a 175-bed skilled care nursing facility in Grand
Rapids where I have worked for three years. My primary
responsibility is auditing medical records to make sure the staff has
carried out doctors’ orders.
My previous job was at the Nimitz Navy Hospital in Detroit, where I
worked for two years as a medical record technician, putting
together patients’ records after they left the hospital.
EDUCATION
I graduated from Grand Rapids High School in the top 20 percent
of my class in 2003.
