Ticos y Ticas Mobilizing
The ticos and ticas as they call themselves in Costa Rica are very proud of
their country, and collectively they have taken steps to become more envi-
ronmentally aware. There is much work to be done, but culturally there is this
motivation to do better and care at least for the country’s environment, if not
the whole Earth. The people are clean and care for themselves; they want to
eliminate waste and pollution. When you come to Costa Rica, become a Tico
or Tica, feel it in your bones! Remember the land, air, and waters are from the
Earth.you are at home! Pure Life!!
