Road ramp
Road ramps are used to control vehicle speeds in residential areas, schools
and hospitals. Traditionally, road ramps are made from cast iron, rubber, or
asphalt mix. The new material made out of sand-plast mix can be used to
replace these traditional materials as shown in Figure 6.15. It provides an
excellent alternative from technical, economical, and environmental points
of view.
