In this chapter we considered the factors that go into the design of the
wing. We also discussed the stability created by sweep and dihedral.
This is called lateral stability. It is time to look at the stability in the other
two axes and to better understand the meaning of stability. In the next
chapter we do just that as we look at stability and control.
