3.7 CONCLUSIONS
This chapter has delved into the main environmental findings that have been reported
in the literature in the analysis of wastewater treatment technologies by life cycle
perspective methodologies. LCA has been shown to be a key environmental method-
ology to identify key hotspots in the analysis of wastewater treatment technologies
and provide extensive information to define criteria and establish priorities in the
selection of technologies for wastewater treatment.
