8.23.2 Aim
The aim of this project is to show how an ON/OFF-type temperature controller system can
be designed.
8.23.3 Block Diagram
The block diagram of the project is as in Fig. 8.72. The system consists of the Nucleo-F411RE
development board, a temperature sensor chip, a relay, and an electric heater.
8.23.4 Circuit Diagram
The circuit diagram of the project is shown in Fig. 8.73. The output of a TMP36-type tem-
perature sensor chip is connected to ADC1/0 (GPIO port PA_0, pin 28 of connector CN7) pin
of the Nucleo-F411RE development board. The +Vs power supply input of the sensor chip is
connected to +3.3V (pin 16 of connector CN7) of the development board. Similarly, the
ground pin of the sensor chip is connected to the GND pin (pin 8 of connector CN7) of the
