entangled in a complicated relationship, based on shared dirty secrets and passions. It turns out that
creepy Johann (Sergei Makovetsky) produces nude flagellation scenes in a cellar, helped by Putilov,
an upstart and somewhat mawkish photographer-cameraman. Johann is the brother of Grunia,
engineer Radlov's maid and, after his wife's death, his mistress, while Putilov is Liza's suitor. The
plot thickens when Victor Ivanovich (Viktor Sukhorukov), Johann's right hand and a porn peddler
whose clients include Liza (Dinara Drukarova) and Stasovs' maid Daria, develops an unhealthy
'artistic' interest in the angelic-voiced Siamese twins, Kolya and Tolya and, as a side effect, enters
into a sadomasochistic relationship with their adoptive mother, Ekaterina Kirilovna (Anzhelika
Nevolina). In the meantime engineer Radlov dies of a heart attack after Grunia informs him of his
