INTRODUCTION: THE PLOT
A feminist director, Luce Habit (Rula Lenska), is looking for a male lead for a film she plans to
make in Africa. Most British actors being too effete for her tastes ('Men are frail little beings,
helpless'), she settles for a hippyish drop-out, Ray Fay (Robin Askwith of the Confessions films).
On her boat, The Liberated Lady, with its crew of bikinied starlets, Luce and Ray reach the film's
location, Lazanga-Where-They-Do-The-Conga, where a tribe of improbably interracial Amazons
try to sacrifice Ray to their god, a 64-foot female gorilla called Queen Kong. Having fallen in love
with Ray, Queen Kong is subdued with gas bombs and transported to London, where she is put
on public display and forced to wear bra and panties. Outraged, she escapes with Ray, demolishes
much of tourist London, and ends up on top of Big Ben. Ray saves her from the military with an
impassioned speech declaring her a symbol of oppressed women everywhere. Women across Britain
take to the streets in the gorilla's defence, and she and Ray are returned safely to Lazanga-Where-
