The term “brain” is often associated with the notions of “mind” and of “computer.”
The brain-mind-computer problem has been treated within the framework of
three separate dichotomies, that is, the brain-mind problem, the brain-computer
analogy/disanalogy, and the computational theory of mind. Fig. 4.1 visualizes the
skeleton of a unified approach.
