3.4.8 Safety systems
Active safety relates to any development designed to actively avoid accidents. It
can be considered under four general headings:
Defi nition handling safety

physiological safety
●
Passive and active safety
●
features perceptual safety
Passive safety features are used operational safety.

Active safety features work to avoid
