10.4 SOFTWARE FOR NETWORK ANALYSIS

Practical work with networks can be done using software packages such
as UCINET (Borgatti et al., 2002), Pajek (Batagelj & Mrvar, 1998; de
Nooy et al., 2005) or VOSviewer (van Eck & Waltman, 2007, 2010,
2011, 2014). Finally, we mention that Bibexcel is a freely available biblio-
metric toolbox which, among other things, prepares data for introducing
them for mapping with Pajek (Persson et al., 2009).
