About the Author
Anne Bruce is the lead author of another popular Briefcase
Book, Motivating Employees (McGraw-Hill, 1999) and author of
the best-selling book, Leaders—Start to Finish: A Road Map for
Developing and Training Leaders at All Levels (American
Society for Training & Development, 2001). She is a popular
keynote speaker and inspiring workshop facilitator known for
her highly entertaining and engaging presentation style.
A former television talk show host and producer for CBS,
Anne has been a featured presenter for The White House,
Harvard Law School, Stanford Law School, and the London
Institute of Management. Her motivational programs on leader-
ship, customer service, the power of human potential, and an
array of communications topics have been featured at world-
wide business conferences, by professional associations, and in
hundreds of corporations, including Coca-Cola, Sprint, Ben &
Jerry’s, Southwest Airlines, Southern Company, Lanier
Worldwide, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Paine Webber, Baylor
