                 ■ Lead like others need, not like you need.
                 ■ Give credit to others.








             TAKE ON THE ROLE OF LEADERSHIP BEFORE YOU HAVE the top level jobs
             and responsibility. Don’t wait until that time because that will be too late.
             Work to positively influence others regardless of your rank or title.
                  Being a leader doesn’t require an additional degree, losing weight,
             changing your hair color, or getting a toupee or a face lift. It does require
             specific, concrete, creative, set-yourself-apart-from-the-pack action in
             dealing with a diverse group of people.

                  Make the only change that matters, making changes in other people’s
                  lives.

                  You don’t need power (from position or title); you need influence
             (from your personality and management style). With that, you can
