• “My boss instituted a policy that unless absolutely neces-
sary, he does not want employees traveling on Sunday night or
getting home late on Friday night. This policy has meant a lot
to me and my family.”
• “I work as the administrative assistant for a group of totally
stressed out executives. Most of them call, e-mail, or stop by
frantic about needing something done right away. Mr. V. is dif-
ferent. He is always organized and gives me plenty of lead time
or asks me how much time I will need. When he does need
something rushed, he is always very respectful and apologizes
and says that he understands if I can’t get it done.”
• “At Thanksgiving, my company handed out complete turkey
dinners to all three hundred employees and their families!”
• “My son’s high school football team made the state playoffs.
When my family and I got to the game, I saw my boss and
several people from my office. I was totally blown away. My
