Metal-Oxide Semiconductor (MOS)
based on available data. Then it can apply these MOPs in the most effective
possible way to make a forecast in a given situation.
                         MESSAGE PASSING
Message passing refers to the repeated transfer of complex data among
computers in an artificially intelligent system.
When a message is passed along many times, various things can happen
to change the content (see illustration).Have you ever told someone a story,
only to hear it sometime later in much different form? The same thing
can happen in computer systems. Noise and distortion can alter signals,
but this has largely been overcome by modern digital transmission
methods. With sophisticated computers, another bugaboo crops up. An
artificially intelligent system, designed to evaluate data subjectively rather
than merely process it, can misinterpret a message, or even embellish it in
ways the users did not intend and cannot predict.

                         METAL-OXIDE SEMICONDUCTOR (MOS)
The oxides of certain metals exhibit insulating and dielectric properties.
So-called metal-oxide-semiconductor (MOS) electronic components have
been in widespread use for years. MOS materials include compounds
such as aluminum oxide and silicon dioxide. MOS devices are noted for
their low power requirements. MOS integrated circuits (ICs) have high
component density and high operating speed.
All MOS devices are subject to damage by the discharge of static
electricity. Therefore, care must be exercised when working with MOS
components. MOS ICs and transistors should be stored with the leads
