Nathaniel Stern (http://nathanielstern.com) is a writer, teacher and
interdisciplinary artist. He continues to research, write and publish on digital
art, continuity and embodiment, which inform his own practice as an artist.
His media span experimental and interactive installation, video, net.art and
printmaking.
Leman Giresunlu, Ph.D. is Assistant Professor at American
Culture and Literature in Western Languages and Literature Department at
Dokuz Eylül University, Turkey. Her research and writing covers American
Studies theory and methods, American literature and history of technology,
gender studies, critical theory, travel literature and popular culture.
Maria Bäcke is currently a Ph.D. Candidate in Digital Games at
Blekinge Institute of Technology (Karlskrona, Sweden). As a university
lecturer of English at Karlstad University, Sweden, her main focus was how
information and communication technologies were framed and problematised
in fiction novels. Her current research project focuses on frameworks,
hierarchies and power relations in online 3D games.
Tony Richards is a Senior Lecturer in Media Theory and
Production in the Faculty of Media, Humanities and Technology at the
University of Lincoln (Lincoln, UK). His main research interests revolve
around the relationship of deconstruction to video games as well as the
interface of media theory to practice.
Alev Adil is Head of the Department of Creative, Critical and
Communication Studies, University of Greenwich, United Kingdom
Steve Kennedy is a Lecturer in Media and Programme Leader for
BA Hons Media Culture and Communication, University of Greenwich,
United kingdom.
Seppo Kuivakari is lecturer at the University of Lapland, Finland.
His recent research work examines media art and history.
