The flange can be drawn in situ. This requires a 20mm diameter isometric circle to be
divided into quarters and the parts moved into the four corner positions.
Planometric projection
Planometric projection is a popular form of pictorial drawing using the exact shape of an
orthographic plan. Make a drawing of the dovetail joint plan view given in Fig. 3.19(a)
and rotate it about the corner A though an angle of 60°. Use the COpy command and
position a duplicate in the space immediately above. Delete linework to leave the parts
