LEADERSHIP ACTION
Take Decisive Action and Stand for the Greatness of Others

your commitment to the success of the person or group,
reaffirm your committed partnership or the desire to build one,
and commit to mutual business results. The context you
establish is crucial in setting the right tone and mood for the

can authentically take accountability for how your behavior
has contributed to the problem, you are not ready to hold
others to account.
3. Learn from the breakdown. Ask, “What have we learned

breakdowns?” “How can we ensure that we hold each other
accountable the moment we notice something is off?” “How
can we be supportive and constructive when we hold each
other accountable?”
