About the Author
M. Galal Rabie, Ph.D., is a professor of mechanical
engineering. Currently, he works in the Manufacturing
Engineering and Production Technology Department
of the Modern Academy for Engineering and Technol-
ogy, Cairo, Egypt. Previously, he was a professor at
the Military Technical College, Cairo, Egypt. He is the
author or co-author of 55 papers published in interna-
tional journals and presented at refereed conferences,
and the supervisor of 24 M.Sc. and Ph.D. theses.
