                      this project, where the architectural team is from Texas and the client in Pennsylvania,
                      it’s very important to build trust and a mutually supportive working relationship before
                      everyone returns to their respective workplaces.

                        PLATINUM PROJECT PROFILE

                        The Casey, Portland, Oregon
                        Developed by Gerding Edlen, designed by GBD  Architects with Interface
                        Engineering and built by Hoffman Construction, the Casey, a 16-story residential
                        building in Portland, Oregon’s Pearl District includes 61 residential units, 4200 square
                        feet of ground-floor retail and underground parking. The project cost was $58 million.
                        The condominiums were designed to be 50 percent more energy efficient than code.
                        The project’s high performance and green features include: roof-mounted photo-
                        voltaics, a green roof, onsite stormwater treatment, ventilation energy recovery units,
                        operable windows, high-performance glazing and water-conserving fixtures.*
