Generally, the weight losses in TG showed correspondence with
the endothermal effects in DTA. The weight losses were found to be very
useful for quantitative measurements. [18] A comparison of the DTA and TG
curves are illustrated in Fig. 7. The DTA curve shows an exothermic effect
at 940°C for crystallization that is absent in TG.
