The WL-HDD draws enough current that a heat sink should be used on the 7805 voltage
regulator. Figure 14-11 shows a close-up of how one can attach the heat sink with a small
screw and nut. You generally don’t need heat sink compound if the power draw is lower than
about 500 mA.
