About the Editors
Hagop Injeyan, Ph.D., recently retired from Northrop
Grumman Aerospace Systems, where he was employed
since 1982 and had been a Technical Fellow since 1999.
He is currently a faculty member at California State
University, Los Angeles. Dr. Injeyan holds 22 U.S. patents
and has more than 20 publications in international sci-
entific journals and proceedings in the areas of chemi-
cal lasers, high-power solid-state lasers, and nonlinear
optics. He has served as Program and General Chair
for the Advanced Solid-State Photonics Conference
(ASSP) and Subcommittee Chair for the Conference on
Lasers and Electro-Optics (CLEO).
Gregory D. Goodno, Ph.D., is a Senior Scientist at
Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems, where he has
been employed since 1999. He has published over
50 technical contributions in the areas of nonlinear ultra-
fast spectroscopy, beam combination, and high-power
slab and fiber lasers. Dr. Goodno currently serves as
Program Chair for the Advanced Solid-State Photonics
Conference.
