API (American Petroleum Institute) pumps

This pump is used extensively in the petroleum industry. This design is
similar and yet different from ANSI pumps. It’s designed for non-
corrosive liquids in applications with high temperature and pressure. It
incorporates closed impellers with balance holes (Figure 6-9).
Complies with API Standard 610.
