          Creation

In order for a part or component to be created physically, it first needs to be described.
If you plan to make something with a machine like a laser cutter or 3D printer, you
need to describe your part digitally. If you plan on cutting and shaping materials by
hand, you can use more analog techniques to describe your part or mechanism.

               Analog Creation
The simplest way to describe something is to think about it in detail. If you need to
cut off an inch of a closet rod to fit between two brackets, you probably won’t use a
computer program to model it. You’ll just think about it and do it.
