We started this chapter with an example from the federal government,
and we end with one from state government. One is experienced, with
proven results; the other on its way to making significant gains. Along
the way we’ve shared what corporations like KPMG have done to cre-
ate a platform for mobile work, and how a mobile workforce can be
a source of sustainable competitive advantage. We’ve shared a list of
questions designed to help your team discuss the issues surrounding
moving to mobility, and we’ve talked about the strategic importance
of having a platform upon which more tactical, short-term decisions
related to your mobile workforce can be hung.
Isn’t it time you seriously looked at moving to mobility?

                      John Berry sums It up

If we succeed at it, it will allow America to retain its competitive leader-
ship. To maintain our quality of life and provide a future for our children
and grandchildren— that is going to be essential. It really comes down to
that. This is one of the most important things I’ll get to do in my life is to
help launch this. I’m hoping it is not killed in the cradle.
—John Berry, Director of the U.S. Office
