                  The thought of planning to build out a mobile workforce has probably
                  already hit watercooler–type discussions within many of your depart-
                  ments. That is a good thing, because these kinds of complex questions
                  should be deliberated openly. Getting this right will take a consider-
                  able amount of time, resources, and the focus of committed people.
                  You’ll want to think seriously about your plan before heading into the
                  big strategic decision meeting. You’ll want to base it on plenty of dia-
                  logue, feedback, and the opinions of key people who will be involved
                  in the success of building your virtual team.
                     The first thing to remember is that moving to mobility is only
                  part of a larger organizational success strategy. It has to complement
                  and support the competitive direction and plan for the company. For
