Multiple Channel Detection

                                                                    Multiple Channel Detection 245

one advantage of these Hadamard multiplexing techniques vanishes. A
Hadamard mask at the input can still provide increased optical throughout from
an extended source. The principles involved here are interesting and didactic
for the whole of optical measurement. At the very least they emphasize the need
to capture as much as possible of the source’s available energy during a meas-
                       urement period.
