Summary
In this chapter we attached digital LED outputs and analog sensors to the Photon board.
We learned how to turn the digital outputs on and off using both the command-line
interface and the Web browser using some basic HTML programming language. We
created a nice visual element to display sensor information from light, temperature, and a
range finder. You should now be able to apply these programs to any given device and
hopefully control and create your very own electronic projects over the Internet.
In the next chapter we will be looking at some add-on boards for the Photon called
shields. These will greatly enhance your project abilities without the need for creating
complex circuits.
