2. The SHL organisation, which works in 38 countries, has recently (i.e. 2001) developed a compe-
tency set that encompasses all possible competencies. The experience is that job competencies
and competencies that apply for high potentials may differ over countries, organisations and
jobs. So, unfortunately, no specific model can be generated about the competencies that high
potentials should possess in the near future (irrespective to country or organisation).
