Example: A compressor with 20* piston and
16" stroke makes 300 revolutions per
minute
Prom 20 inches, cylinder diameter, read across
to the line representing 1«* stroke, and then
down to the 300-rpm line, then across to line
reprecenting 10 million square feel per quart of
oil (this is an average rate of oil feed-depending
on circumstances, a (ester or greater rate may
be chosen). Pram (Ms point read up to the
"ContttBiplion" scale. The properconsumption
is 0.6 quarts per 24-hour day..
Caution: If feed rate i> bated on drops per
minute, it should be checked by measuring
actual consumption during a given period.
