any organizations start mentoring, coaching, and/or buddy
Mprograms as an important tool to combat excessive or
debilitating retention rates among top employees. If you man-
age top performers, mentoring and coaching are not optional.
Whether or not your organization has such a formal mentoring
or coaching program, your key employees will expect that you
provide them with mentoring and coaching when appropriate.
